A Staedtler Rubber

3 Staedtler rubber memories from school:

1. Cutting with the blade from a pencil sharpener.
2. Bending between thumb and forefinger until it slowly splits.
3. Puncturing with a pencil.

    also, when they got dirty, i'd rub it on the desk until it was clean again.

    Did anyone ever use the blue bit to erase pen? I liked the 'Mars Plastic' ones wrapped in cardboard best!

    Ahh yes, and saw it with a ruler, covering the desk and your knee in quick a large amount of shavings (aka wasted rubber)
