Hey, I just finished reading a book last night, and this looks just like one of the characters from it, The Woodsman.
The book is "The Book Of Lost Things" by John Connolly and is a very gruesome Grimm style, modern day, fairy tale. Lots of bits chopped off. Infact this could be a cover for the book!
